Friends of Colorado Triathlon
Mission
Friends of Colorado Triathlon Foundation is a registered non profit organization formed with the purpose of providing financial support to athletes on the CU Triathlon Team. The mission of the organization is to reward student athletes who perform well in school, are leaders amongst their teammates and who excel in the sport of triathlon. Money that is donated to the foundation will be used for scholarships and as a special needs fund for the CU Triathlon team.
Because the CU Triathlon Team is a Club sport, the team's athletes do not have access to sport related scholarships from CU. The ability to offer scholarships to hard working CU triathletes will further increase the winning performance of the team by rewarding those who perform well, train hard and are successful in academics as well.
